Roost Farms is now accepting harvest members for the 2016 growing season.
By joining the summer CSA season you’ll receive 16 weekly boxes of the freshest, best tasting, organically grown, local produce for you and your family.
In terms of quantity you can imagine a paper grocery bag full to the brim during the peak summer and fall weeks, and a little less in early summer. Every box will have a mix of salad greens, herbs, vegetables and some fruit from our farm. All of our farming space is in Northwest Denver or Wheat Ridge and we grow everything naturally, organically, and free of pesticides, gmo’s and other ridiculous planet and people harming additives.
In addition to all of these amazing crops as a CSA member you’ll receive the following:
A dozen organic, free range chicken eggs once a month
One loaf a month of the Denver County Fair blue ribbon award-winning Roost Farms multi-grain bread.
Beginning mid-summer Flower arrangements every week.
Roost Farms home-brewed beer once a month. You’ll even have the chance to suggest your favorite beer style. To be clear the beer is a “free” add-on for our CSA friends and not to be confused as for pay beer distribution.
The 2016 summer CSA season will officially begin on Thursday, June 16th or 23rd and runs until Thursday, Sept 29th or Oct 6th. While we may need to adjust the starting dates due to weather once the season starts it will last for 16 weeks.
